Tami Bostick serves as American Academy’s Chief Academic Offer.

After years of moving from military base to military base and ready to settle down, Tami and her family came to Colorado and American Academy, looking for that “perfect school” for their kids. From the moment she walked in that humble school positioned in a Lone Tree strip mall, it was evident this was a special place where her children would thrive and belong, and ultimately where she would belong. It was not about the building or playground but about the people within, the standards, the curriculum, and the mission the school was founded upon. Since the opening of American Academy all those years ago, and though her sons are grown and have long left these hallways, she has continued to serve American Academy’s children because of her firm belief in this school as an administrator, as an educator, and most of all as a parent.

In her over 25-year education career, Tami has taught grades ranging from preschool through 8th Grade, served as an assistant principal, principal, and now Chief Academic Officer. Tami earned a Bachelor of Science Elementary Education from Texas State University and a Bachelor of Arts Psychology with an emphasis in Counseling from University of Colorado Denver.
