Summer 2023

Kindergarten:

  • Recognize and name numbers 1-10.
  • Introduce numbers 11-20 as more than 10.

 
1st Grade:

  • Please continue fluency of addition facts 0-10.

 
2nd Grade:

  • Please continue fluency of addition and subtraction facts 10-12.
  • You can challenge yourself with multiplication facts with 1’s, 2’s, 5’s and 10’s.

 
3rd Grade Math:

  • Please master fluency of addition and subtraction facts 0-12. You will have timed tests starting as soon as we return to school in the fall.
  • Begin multiplication and division facts with 1’s, 2’s, 5’s and 10’s, can challenge yourself to 3’s, 4’s, and 6’s.
  • Place Value 1’s, 10’s 100’s, 1,000
  • Time to the hour and half hour on an analog clock

 
4th Grade:

  • Please practice multiplication and division facts 0-10. You will have timed tests starting as soon as we return to school in the fall.
  • Double- and triple-digit addition and subtraction skills using regrouping.

 
5th Grade:

  • Please practice multiplication and division facts 6-12. You will have timed tests starting as soon as we return to school in the fall.
 

6th Grade

  • Memorize multiplication facts for 0 – 10 and be able to answer fact questions 
  • We suggest using flash cards to study and memorize – you can purchase these, print them from a free website (like this one), or have your child make them! 
  • Learning will be assessed by timed fact quizzes starting Friday, August 18, and students will continue to take timed fact quizzes throughout the year 

7th Grade

  • Memorize multiplication facts for 0 – 12 and be able to answer fact questions
