School-wide events are a great opportunity for AA students to connect with one another and grow as a community!
Please check back regularly for updated information on our current school-wide event.
Each year American Academy school counselors help facilitate the following school-wide activities:
- Minute Meetings: a special time where we get to briefly meet with every AA student at the start of the new school year (Fall)
- Kindness Week: a week-long event designed to expose AA students to the power of kindness with fun activities, spirit days, classroom discussions, and more (Fall)
- Career Exploration: AA students are given the opportunity to learn more about themselves and begin exploring various career paths (Spring)
- Move-up Day: as our 5th graders make the transition to 6th grade and all that comes with middle school, counselors are there to help with a classroom lesson, a Q&A with current middle school students, and a friendly face on the actual "move-up day" (Spring)
