American Academy will be transitioning from Microsoft Office 365 and Outlook/Exchange email to Google Workspace Apps and Gmail this June. Google Workspace has made great strides in the education space for ease of use, collaboration, integration with 3rd party sites, and cost. We spent many months evaluating both platforms and determined that Google Workspace was a better fit for our K-8 students. We are very excited for this conversion! During the 23-24 school year, our staff has been slowly making the transition.
For the 24-25 school year, all staff and students will be using Google Workspace apps (Classroom, Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Gmail. All staff and student email address will stay the same with AAK8.ORG. We appreciate your grace and patience as we all transition to this new platform.
~ All Staff will be offline June 7-12 with no access to email. Please refrain from sending emails to staff during this time.
