As part of the Douglas County School District’s Universal Screening Process, all students in Grade 3 and Grade 6 will take the Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT 7). The results of these tests will be used to inform instructional practices in the classroom and guide efforts to adapt learning opportunities to meet the needs and abilities of the students. This test is also used to serve as a screener for gifted and talented programming eligibility.
Grade 6 will take the test the week of September 4 (completed)
Grade 3 will take the test the week of September 9.
