Theater

The AAPA Theater Department thrives as a vibrant and inclusive community where dreams find their spotlight, voices discover their expression, and the enchantment of theater comes alive. Our mission is to provide exceptional theatrical, artistic, and personal growth opportunities to students in grades K-8, fostering a love for the dramatic arts and nurturing their unique talents. With a comprehensive curriculum designed to prioritize the development of our students' theatrical skills, the AAPA Theater Department is dedicated to cultivating their artistic abilities and fostering personal growth. Through acting techniques, stagecraft, and immersive experiences, we empower our students to explore their creativity, build confidence, and develop a deep appreciation for the transformative power of theater.

Please read on to learn more about the available classes and enroll. If you have any inquiries, please don't hesitate to contact AAPA Manager Jeremi Richardson at [email protected]. We can't wait to collaborate with your students, teaching them the art of storytelling through drama, fostering connections with others, and unlocking their acting potential.

Signups for Fall Classes begin August 1 at the American Academy School Store. As always, theater extra-curricular class offerings vary by semester and are subject to staff availability.
