First Middle School Dance Friday November 7th!

For parents new to the middle school scene, our dances are really just fun social events for students to relax and enjoy time with friends. We discourage “dates” or pairing off, and there’s no formal dress code — though the Student Council may choose an optional fun theme and share details at school. The goal is simple: to let kids be kids and have a great time together!

Important: For safety and accountability reasons, dances are open to currently enrolled American Academy students only.

Each campus hosts its own dance, chaperoned by our amazing middle school teachers. Students typically pay a small entry fee, and snacks are either included or available for purchase. Please check your campus webpage or principal’s newsletter for final details as the date approaches.

We kindly ask that parents plan to pick up students promptly after the dance. Our teachers volunteer their Friday evenings — after a full day of teaching — to make these events safe and enjoyable. Timely pick-up allows everyone to wrap up the evening smoothly and get some well-deserved rest!
