In Colorado, every school is required by statute to have a School Accountability Committee (SAC). American Academy’s SAC provides parents, staff, and community members with a meaningful voice in the planning and evaluation of our school and its programs.
The SAC works collaboratively with school leadership to review high-level academic data, contribute to the school’s Unified Improvement Plan, recommend budget priorities, facilitate the annual student survey, and provide community feedback.
The SAC meets monthly and includes parent, teacher, and administrative representatives from across our campuses.
