State Assessment Excusal Requests

DCSD requires parents/guardians to use the EngagED Parent Portal to request an excusal for their child(ren) from the current academic year’s state assessments. How to use EngagED Parent Portal NOTE: your username for EngagED is your IC username followed by "@p.dcsdk12.org" (ex: [email protected])
 

Current Year American Academy Assessment Schedule

Effective with the 2025-2026 school year, paper assessments are no longer an option and will only be made available to students who have a documented accommodation that requires they complete the assessment on paper.
