Creating a Daily Exception or Late Arrival

On any given day, if your child’s dismissal option is different than the default you have set, you can update the child’s calendar in SDM.   This is called an exception.
 
An example would be if your child was Absent, going to Homework Club for a day or arriving late due to a scheduled appointment.
 
Each child has their own calendar and can have different dismissal options on any day.  For example, one child is going home via Carpool and another child is staying for an ECA or Athletic Team.
 
Change a Dismissal Option for a Single Day
  1. Login to SDM

  2. Click on the appropriate DATE in the calendar that needs to be changed.  

  3. Click ADD EXCEPTION  or ADD LATE ARRIVAL for the appropriate student

  4. Select the new DISMISSAL option for that day - add any Notes

  5. Click ADD EXCEPTION

  6. Click BACK TO CALENDAR
