American Academy

Engineering Certification Program (Grades 6-8)

Students wanting to take S.T.E.M. study and skills further at American Academy may choose to participate in our extracurricular Engineering Academy Certificate Program. To graduate with an Engineering Academy Certificate, students must complete at least four S.T.E.M. or engineering extracurricular activities one from each of four areas of discipline -- robotics, building, design, and programming -- as well as an independently-researched and independently-constructed capstone project.
To find out more about getting your student involved in the Engineering Academy Certificate Program, please email American Academy S.T.E.M. Director, Katie Dutton. To view S.T.E.M. and engineering courses, visit our School Store > Engineering Academy Certificate Program.
