Carpool Check-In Process (ALL Campuses)

For afternoon carpool check in:

  1. BEFORE arriving for afternoon carpool pick-up, log in to the SDM mobile app. 
     
  2. Once on campus after 3:25 pm, push the Check In button that appears in the SDM app.   Do NOT push the button until you have come to a complete stop in the carpool line.

    The Check In button will not appear in the SDM app before 3:25 pm. Pushing the Check In button before you arrive on campus (e.g., while you are at home or the store) will cause the carpool line to slow down for everyone.

  3. If arriving on campus after All Call (towards the end of carpool when the few remaining students are all sent down together), you will still need to push the Check In button.
Notes:
 
  • If you do not see the Check In button and it is after 3:25pm, please close the mobile app and reopen to refresh the screen.  If the button still does not appear, this is due to the dismissal option for that day being set incorrectly.  Please inform a carpool attendant and they will radio into the Front Office to have your student come out to carpool.

  • If you do not have your phone or your phone is dead, please park in the parking lot, and walk inside with a driver's license to sign the student out.   We apologize for this inconvenience but the safety of our students is our primary concern.

  • Parents who have not downloaded the SDM app and logged in prior to arriving for afternoon carpool will NOT be able to pick up students in carpool line.  Please park in the parking lot, and walk inside with a driver's license to sign the student out.   We apologize for this inconvenience but the safety of our students is our primary concern.
