A Carpool HOLD will be called if there is adverse weather or an event in the immediate area, but looks to be moving away or resolved quickly. During a Carpool HOLD, students are kept safely inside, and carpool will more than likely be safely started within 10-15 minutes. During this time, please remain in your car in the carpool lanes, so we can start/resume carpool as quickly as possible once the Carpool HOLD is lifted.

 

Your patience during a HOLD is imperative, while administration is doing everything they can inside to determine the best course of action. Please do not call our front offices, but wait for further direction via Emergency Communication as to whether the HOLD will be lifted and carpool resumed or if carpool will be cancelled. If the Carpool Hold will be more than 10-15 minutes or if conditions deteriorate, a Lightning Dismissal would go into effect, and those procedures would be followed.
